Our home away from home during the cruise was a 199-square-foot balcony cabin located on deck 8. Despite the common misconception that cruise cabins are cramped, ours felt spacious and provided ample comfort for two. The king-size bed, generous storage, seating area, refrigerator, and complimentary toiletries made our stay delightful. Booking connecting cabins for our family allowed for just the right amount of privacy while keeping us close together—a strategy I highly recommend for families traveling with kids.

Although we faced challenges hiking to Varden Molde Panorama, laughter and camaraderie made the experience memorable. The highlight was Olden, where two shore excursions allowed us to explore its stunning beauty. The village’s picturesque landscapes showcased what makes Norway's fjords so captivating, solidifying it as my favorite stop.

Royal Caribbean offered $200 per cabin to compensate for the inconvenience, a gesture that enhanced our cruising experience.
