Carnival Corporation is once again in the holiday spirit, working to spread joy and foster connections in its partner destinations throughout the Caribbean. Through its annual community outreach, the company has made a significant impact by delivering support and festive cheer to thousands of residents. In a heartwarming initiative, students from Grand Turk’s Eliza Simons and Ona Glinton Primary Schools visited Carnival's ships, enjoying guided tours, festive lunches, and moments with Santa Claus, who handed out toys to the children.
Celebrating Local Traditions
The cruise line is not just about fun and festivities; it's about honoring and celebrating local traditions. This past December, Carnival sponsored a float in the annual Grand Turk Christmas Parade, immersing itself in the community’s holiday celebrations. Additionally, the company organized six community-focused holiday events in The Bahamas, ranging from a special children’s day celebration to a senior citizens’ luncheon and multiple toy distributions. In Jamaica, a group of 21 volunteers from the Carnival Horizon made a meaningful visit to St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital. They also helped staff clean and refurbish the learning center of the hospital, initially refurbished by Carnival in 2023. Continuing Support Post-Hurricane
Carnival is extending its support to Jamaica’s recovery from Hurricane Melissa. A shipment of relief supplies was delivered to Ocho Rios, emphasizing the company's commitment to helping communities in need. This effort, coordinated with Direct Relief, the Miami HEAT, and the Micky & Madeleine Arison Family Foundation, included vital medical and hygiene supplies for local hospitals and clinics.
Philanthropic Spirit Across the Caribbean
This season of giving extends beyond Grand Turk and Jamaica. Carnival participated in the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Holiday Gift Project, ensuring that hundreds of children in various Caribbean nations received gifts just in time for Christmas, creating smiles where there might not have been one.

As Carnival Cruise Line marks its first holiday season at Celebration Key, it has partnered with local businesses and Bahamian team members to create a festive tropical wonderland. Spectacular decorations, including a towering 20-foot Celebration Key-themed tree and an 8-foot sand sculpture tree, embody the holiday spirit, making the destination a vibrant hub for visitors and locals alike.
